Latinx Art Teaching Poster Exhibit: Chicano Graphics

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month the Burbank Library is proud to display five artwork prints from Latino artists, Jesus Barraza, Dignidad Rebelde (Steve Biko, 2001/2013), Carlos Francisco Jackson (Breaking the Fast, 1968, 2012), Rupert García (Frida Kahlo (September), 1975), Ernesto Yerena, Montejano Shepard Fairey (Not One More Deportation, 2015), and Ester Hernandez (Sun Mad, 1982).

This project was produced by the Education department of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in conjunction with the exhibition ¡Printing the Revolution! The Rise and Impact of Chicano Graphics, 1965 to Now. Support for this project was provided by the Latino Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
