Burbank, Washington 99323 - Introduction: Teens ages 13-18 will get to watch anime with other teens and participate in a origami craft. At each meeting we will watch anime series, movie, or short. We will only be watching shows with the rating TV-14 and below (so no TV-MA).
What is mochi?
Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of mochigome (glutinous rice), and other ingredients such as water, sugar, and cornstarch. The rice is steamed and pounded into paste and then molded into shape. In Japan, it is traditionally made in a ceremony called Mochitsuki.
