Join Malia Lewis, MSW to discuss opioid overdose in our community and what you can do about it. We will cover signs of overdose, naloxone administration, and recent insights into the local drug supply. Malia is the Syringe Services Program Manager and Drug Checking Technician at Blue Mountain Heart to Heart, a local community-based health organization doing its best to promote a healthier and safer community in Walla Walla, Benton, and Asotin counties. All participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn where to access naloxone kits to keep in their first aid kits.
